the track rig is complex,I cant explain it very well in a few words,but I can tell you that the track rig is based on motion path,I made a curve on which the paddles can slide .I used some locators to calculate the distance the track move every frame,so I can set the rotation right.

How did you do the head rotation spacing switch when at the where the head follows the body but not the root?
I have some expressions to control the rotation spacing switch,not constrains.
